More quick snaps
Some real random photos of this winter.
Like I previously said before, the evo viii and ix are pretty rare in Canada given that they do not sell them there. It wasn’t until recently that they start allowing them to be imported into Canada.
Brendan, the owner of Project Detail located in Vancouver, B.C. has given me the opportunity to shoot his daily driver, a wicked white Mitsubishi Evo IX MR.
This evo IX is pretty much bone stock right now, but he has plans in the next little while. AST, Wedsport, just to name a few. When he showed me the car in person I was expecting what I was going to expect. A clean and spotless evo IX. The attention to detail is just amazing. The wheels, brakes, and wheel wells are like brand new. Even the gaps in between the lug nuts has no sign of dust.
Had the opportunity shooting the MWdesign BMW Z4. Shooting a black car in a not so well lit place was never an easy task, especially when you’re limited in gear. It’s a challenge in the beginning, but it wasn’t that bad after all. In fact it was my best shoot so far. Enjoy! Special thanks to Lewis and Mike!
Been through a lot lately. Things were picking up and I was busy shooting again. I was stressed out a bit lately so I thought “hey, I should just take a break and drive and shoot around.” So I took a day off work (and by that I mean NO work at all). I went to White Rock early for an early brunch, then went to Steveston and chilled for a while. I then went out for a coffee with my laptop in the evening.
When I went home, I said this to myself: “I need to do this more often.” I’ve been shooting quite a bit since last summer and haven’t really been stopping down till early Feb of this year. Things picked up again during May and I realized that I’ve never really fully relaxed myself when I had free time. It was quite a eye opener to myself.
I had been shooting so much paid work at a point where I was a little scared that I was doing it just to pay the bills. I took a step back and realized that I was pushing myself forward so much that I wasn’t enjoying life all that much. Now picking up the camera is now an enjoyment again :)
Enjoy the photos :)

I have been really busy shooting event coverages and weddings this month. Finding time is never hard if you have enough dedication and when you use your time wisely. I happen to shoot Darius’s Mitsubishi EVO IX earlier this week. These are pretty rare in Canada because they’re never sold locally so pretty much everyone of them are imported to Canada from the US. This car is DD (daily driver, sometimes) and a weekend track warrior. Very clean! Only one shot though but the car is pretty flush!
PS: I’m prepping my car for May 22nd track day at Pacific Raceway in Seattle. More updates later :)
I did a shoot of downtown on last Saturday. We rented out of the hotels with balcony facing downtown Vancouver and shot some photos for the evening.
I did a photoshoot for Tim back in January. We took a short 1/2 hour trip to Chilliwack from Boundary Bay airport. It was my first time traveling in a small plane so it was a great experience for me. The shoot only took less than 15 minutes because it was getting cold and dark.
